Get ready to meet the fiery and fearless Bri Biase, a rising star in the rap scene who's taking no prisoners with her latest single, "Ms. IDGAF". As an independent artist and mother, Bri Biase is proving that she's a force to be reckoned with, delivering sharp lyrics that cut deep and showcasing her versatility on any beat. With a voice that's unapologetic and authentic, Bri Biase is refusing to be silenced or held back. Today, we're sitting down with this talented artist to dive into the inspiration behind "Ms. IDGAF", her creative process, and what drives her to succeed in the music industry!

Q: What inspired the title and message of "Ms. IDGAF"? Is there a personal story or experience that you drew from?

BRI: Actually, I was on my stories on IG being funny, and I made a video saying, “You have reached Ms. I don’t give a f... This mailbox is full. Goodbye.” Then my producer, the next day, somehow took the audio from my IG story and made a beat, and I recorded it in 28 minutes. Lol.

Q: Could you share a little about your background and how your journey in music began? What have been some of the most significant challenges you've encountered as an independent artist, and what strategies have you used to overcome them?

BRI: My journey has been a great one. I’ve experienced a lot of challenges being an indie female rapper in a male-dominated industry.  But I face my challenges by educating myself. I didn’t want to have to deal with entertaining a man just for studio time, so I went to school for audio engineering and bought my own studio. Anything or anyone that gets in my way, I just figure it out on my own!

Q: How do you see your music evolving in the future, and what themes or topics do you hope to explore?

BRI: Breaking records and hitting charts. I really have all kinds of music about all kinds of things and different genres, so the next step would be getting it to the masses.

Q: Your lyrics are known for being sharp and unapologetic. Can you talk about your approach to songwriting and what drives your creativity?

BRI: Simple — open Pro Tools, click new session, import audio, select beat, record!

I don’t overthink it; I just let my brain flow. Ain’t no telling what might come out of my mouth. Depends on the beat.

Q: As a mother and artist, how do you balance your creative pursuits with your family responsibilities?

BRI: Easy - I MAKE SONGS ABOUT MY CHILDREN! They watch me record. They love it.

Q: What's next for you, and how do you plan to continue pushing boundaries and taking risks in your music?

BRI: As long as God wakes me up, I'm going to get everything He allows me to get! I’m not stopping at all. So the best is yet to come… Keep God first, and everything is possible. I just wake up and do what I love.
